Programme & other things

Hungarian team:

I was just the postman, but I thank you a lot for the gifts/messages I brought to your Portuguese partners, but I'm sure they will find a way to tell it for themselves, as Joana already did. I'm also glad that you are so enthousiastic on posting, sure we are feeling very welcome in advance :))

Portuguese team:

Ok, you just got a general idea of the programme for January, which apparently come out of a 'conspiracy of teachers' :D. But I'm sure your exchange partners sneaked in that conspiracy and learnt a lot more about it. So, if you want to know more about places, details, etc., just have to ask them ;)

Fernando

Sorry, the pictures are missing. This is the Matthias Church:

Hello, my name is Noya. I'm Raquel's exchange partner. I write about the Matthias Church. :)

Matthias Church

The Matthias Church is Hungary’s each symbol. It is in Budapest, Hungary’s capital of city. It is in the square Szentháromság. Saint István king found it in 1015. It’s a huge church. It’s a gothic building.

Matthias Church (Hungarian: Mátyás templom) is a church located in Budapest, Hungary at the heart of Buda's Castle District. According to church tradition, it was originally built in 1015. The current building was constructed in the florid late Gothic style in the second half of the 14th century and was extensively restored in the late 19th century.

Inside, visitors tend to head straight for the Ecclesiastical Art museum which begins in the medieval crypt and leads up to the St. Stephen Chapel. The gallery contains a number of sacred relics and medieval stone carvings, along with replicas of the Hungarian royal crown and coronation jewels.

It's very nice:)
