Some of our students are still having trouble posting on the blog, or becoming members, so if you don't see a lot of Hungarians on here yet, don't worry they will be here soon.
There was snow in the Matra mountains/hills in northern Hungary today, so it seems like winter is really here. Hopefully it will stay like this until you come in January.
For the Hungarians, we'll have a meeting on Monday at 12 in the usual place (room 111). See you all then.
Have a good weekend everybody!

I am Krisz, hopefully all of you are waiting for the exchange, 'cause we are looking forward so much:) I hope It's gonna be snowy when you come, and hot when we go:D And for the end I post a pisture as everybody wanted:
------------------------------------------------------>
(that's how Hungary looks like in the winters)
bye :) kitti
Hungarian bloggers, some help to post
1) follow the invitation link Catharina sent to your e-mails
2) then you'll reach a screen - fill the spaces with your e-mail and password, login then
3) chose 'new post'
4) write the post, where you can add pics, films, etc.
If you can't manage, your teachers Judit and Vicki already posted, so I'm sure they will be giving you a closer hand :))
Please, give it another try, everyone is eager to know things about you and your country

I'm Vicki, the other Hungarian teacher, and I'm really happy to have found this blog. :)
It looks like we've got a pretty enthusiastic bunch this year. Hopefully the Hungarian students will start blogging more actively, once I give them the blog's address tomorrow at school.
I'm looking forward to meeting all of you in January - it's less than 2 months away. :D
I hope everyone has a good evening. :)

Saint George's Castle can be seen from almost everywhere in the city. Its oldest parts date from the 6th century, when it was fortified by the Romans, Visigoths, and eventually the Moors. It served as a Moorish royal residence until Portugal's first king Afonso Henriques captured it in 1147 with the help of northern European crusaders on their way to the Holy Land. It was then dedicated to St. George, the patron saint of England, commemorating the Anglo-Portuguese pact dating from 1371, and became the royal palace until another one (that was destroyed in the Great Earthquake) was built in today's Comercio Square.
So, tell me what you thought about this post. It's a bit long, i'm sorry...
Hope you guys also write something about Hungary! Please, do that :)
kisses,
Catharina
I'm Fernando and the portuguese exchangers already know me as I'm a teacher here, although I only teach in regular classes one from the gang. But you, Hungarians, will recognize me in the photo as I'm the only old man with the beard :D
I noticed that our webmaster, Catharina, is improving the layout, so, I leave here some suggestions that in my opinion would make it even better: why don't you Portuguese bloggers use direct posting (log in in with your password and chose 'new post') instead of the commenting option - the case is that a post is more easily read as it shows in the front page of the blog.
And as Portuguese didn't ask anything so far, I will - what about you, Hungarian gang, when can we see your faces and read about you :) ? Judit is the bravest one, but she's already a friend of mine, so I'm still curious about the rest of the group.
C'mon , don't be shy, everybody is welcome here, whatever you want to say.
